Welcome to the the48states.com, I have set up this site to enable family, friends and people with an interest in the trip to understand what we are doing, where we will be going and the ability to track our progress, hopefully in real time.

On the October 8th 2010, N10100 a Cessna 182 will depart Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, Broomfield, Colorado. Onboard will be Myself & my Instructor (Ian).

Our aim is to fly to and land in each of the Contiguous 48 States of the United States of America in just 6 days. We will be covering over 6,200 Nautical Miles.
